Dear Dilys and family, We are so sorry to hear of your sad loss of dear Neil. Sending our deepest sympathy and condolences. We have fond memories of the Golden Cross camera club where we used to meet. We are very pleased to be able to donate to this charity that gave so much support to Neil and Dilys family's when most needed. With kindest regards. Doreen & Gordon
Dad leaves behind a legacy of love and wonderful memories. He didn’t believe in god or the afterlife, but he did believe that we all live on in the hearts and minds and memories of the people we love and leave behind. I will remember his hat and his smile and his beard, his wit and wisdom, his positivity and optimism and his love of all things green. An amazing dad and a fabulously eccentric grandad, referred to always as ‘Grumpy’. Dad believed death is part of the natural order of things, just an essential part of the cycle of life, and as he would say - 'it’s just all part of life’s multi coloured string vest'. Sade x
So grateful for the guidance whether on life, cameras, red wine, politics, social justice or anything technical. Lovely to have our kids experience all this and his quiet mischievousness! We will miss him but have had so much fun and will treasure our very fond memories of these times.
We have many fond memories of Neill. We will remember him as wise, welcoming and witty. A good time was always had in his company- lovely memories of camper vans, Italian restaurants, laughter filled evenings, too many carafes of house red leading to our most awful hangover ever. A true gent who will be missed by all of us. Sending much love to Dilys, Sade and Aurelia. Xx
Neil will be so missed, I have such fond memories of all the great gatherings and catch up's we had (mostly involving wine!). Thank you for everything you've always done for our family. Such a precious gentleman. Thank you to the charity for giving Neil his wish and dignity at the end x
If there is one final thing Dad taught us... its to never give up, no matter how bleak things seem, we must always have determination and keep up our hope and dreams no matter what life throws at us! You leave a big hole in our lives Dad, but you live on forever in our hearts and minds (and a few traits too :-) xxx
